Providing Financial Support to Families Graduating from the NICU to the Nursery
Read about Reagan Walsh, our featured 2021 Hoag Hospital NICU grad!
Our baby boy Jake Weston Hill was born prematurely on June 29, 2020. Jake was quickly admitted to the Hoag NICU where he spent almost a month being cared for by the world's best Doctors and Nurses. While in the NICU, Austin and I discovered how challenging it is for parents to financially prepare to bring their NICU baby home. We noticed that many parents were stressed about funding necessary essentials rather than focusing on the joy of bringing their baby home. NICU 2 Nursery aims to bridge the gap for parents and provide them with the financial resources they need so they can focus on the excitement of bringing their child home rather than the financial stress that often comes with the NICU. NICU 2 Nursery's goal is to make sure no parent has to worry about funding their child's well being.
NICU 2 Nursery has partnered with Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. The funds raised through NICU 2 Nursery will go directly to the Hoag Hospital NICU Fund to help families make the joyous transition from Hoag's NICU to their family home. With the support of the Hoag Promise Campaign and Hoag Hospital Foundation, NICU 2 Nursery is poised to ensure that all NICU babies and families, whether or not they have the means, come home to an optimal healing environment.
